This is a lovely vintage MAESA side saddle slipper stirrup numbered 1297.  It is beautifully engraved with a scroll motif, is silver wash and in outstanding condition.   Inside there are marks that indicate that this was actually used as a stirrup.  It measures 10" long, 2" at the toe and 5 1/2" at its widest point. This may also be used as a decorative item. What a fun addition to your side saddle collection or to give as a most unusual gift.
